The first time I went to Malaysia, touring was still new to me. One city looked like another in the beginning. Now that I’m more familiar with Malaysia, I actually know Kuala Lumpur quite well.

The people are warm and we’ve got some good friends in Malaysia. We make it a point to try the local dishes of the countries we visit, and Malaysia has a variety of interesting food.

I hope we’ll come back to Asia, especially Malaysia, soon.

"Beat It" is a song written and performed by American recording artist Michael Jackson and co-produced by Quincy Jones for the singer's sixth solo album, Thriller (1982). Eddie Van Halen was drafted to add the song's distinctive overdriven guitar solo. Following the successful chart performances of the Thriller singles "The Girl Is Mine" and "Billie Jean", "Beat It" was released on February 14, 1983 as the album's third single. The song was promoted with a short film that featured Jackson bringing two gangs together through the power of dance

Have you ever wondered how Michael learned to rock, or why this wholesome Danish group is so named?

I never did, not until I talked to drummer Kare Wanscher by telephone in an exclusive interview (he was calling from Copenhagen). (The two other members are Jascha Richter, keyboard player, and Mikkel Lentz, guitarist.)

According to their record label releases, their sound is "the perfect balance of [a Scandinavian glow and the international pop song] that has been instrumental in forming the compelling sound of the band",[2] though the lead singer and song writer Jascha Richter disagrees with this, maintaining that the music defies geographical categorization.

But I surmise what you mean is that WHERE I BELONG is a very good album, and our own Jascha Richter is one of the best songwriters ever. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It seems to be a requirement for music snobs to have their favorite neglected genius, the one who wrote better songs than Lennon and/or McCartney and/or both but never got the credit he or she deserved. Typically most of said snobs tend to pick Lou Reed. Well, I say good choice, no harm in that one, but I am going to have to go with Ray Davies. Sorry Lou. Ray's songs seem a bit more universal, a bit more touching, a bit easier to connect to. As much as I love "Heroin" and "Sweet Jane," I more often find myself with "Big Sky" or "This is Where I Belong" on the player. I guess it's just a matter of taste.

When I discovered this compilation, the name tipped me off that it would be good. If Ryko had called it "All Day and All of the Night," for example, or "You Really Got Me," it would have conjured up images of Van Halen or some other inane, dated hard-rock group grinding out yet another cover of the earliest stuff. "This is Where I Belong" is not only a great song from the classic mid-period years but it is also an obscurity. Somebody knew what they were doing over at Ryko, so I had to invest the $14 it cost at the time to find out whether it was any good.

And it was. These artists show exactly why Ray's music is so special...it is completely timeless. The glory of "Big Sky," my favorite Kinks song, is captured magnificently here by Matthew Sweet. Jonathan Richman shows us exactly why "Stop Your Sobbing" hasn't lost any of its charm- its simplicity allows the message- one of coping with sorrow of any kind- to come through clearly. Fountains of Wayne take another obscurity, "Better Things," and maintain its feel as a powerpop gem while making sound like it was written yesterday. None of the wit or wisdom is lost in any of these translations. Yeah Cracker doesn't sound like Cracker here but so what, you want to hear Cracker in their purest form then put on "Kerosene Hat." Nothing on here disappoints.

A worthy complilation for one of the best songwriters ever. It may even be desert island stuff for me.

For the Venia Law Keeper, Marise, returning home isn’t something she wants to do, but duty dictates that she must answer Lord Timur’s call for assistance and investigate the attempt on his life by a vampire. Faced with her old home, she tries hard to suppress the memories it evokes, of happier times in the arms of her ex-lover, Jascha, and of the darker times with him that led to her leaving.

She puts the atmosphere and looks she receives down to fear from the attempt to kill Timur, but when she lays eyes on her lord, she realises that it may be for another reason and that the attacker may not have been a vampire after all. Left with only one other source of information, a guard injured in the attack to a point beyond recovery and left to remain awaiting death, she decides to question him before he dies and then get the hell out of there.

Only when she sees that the dying guard is Jascha, she begins a battle with her heart that will see her struggle to turn her back on Jascha and her family again, and maintain her sense of duty. Is fifty years enough to forgive the one you love for breaking your heart? Will Marise finally confess to everything she’s held inside and kept hidden from him? And can Jascha convince Marise to listen to what he has to say and make her love him again?

The knock-knock joke is a type of joke, probably the best-known format of the pun, and is a time-honoured "call and answer" exercise.

It is a roleplay exercise, with a punster and a recipient of wit.

The standard format has five lines:

 1. The punster: Knock, knock!
 2. The recipient: Who's there?
 3. The punster: a response, sometimes involving a name (Doctor)
 4. The recipient: a repetition of the response followed by who? (Doctor who?)
 5. The punster: the punch line, which typically involves a punnish misusage of the word set up during the response
